Faster Firefox Tweaks - Speed Up Firefox With These Eight Simple Tricks

When you surf the internet, you want to see the website content faster. To download websites faster, the first thing you’ll need is a fast internet connection. But a fast internet connection would be useless if you do not have the right web browser settings. If you’re using Firefox, you might want to know these eight simple faster Firefox tweaks – Speed up Firefox. A faster loading of web pages can be achieved with these faster Firefox tweaks – Speed up Firefox. Here are the steps:

  1. To begin the tweaks, you first need to open Firefox. Type “about:config” on the address bar and press enter. Then, type “network.http.pipelining” on the filter bar. Look for the “network.http.pipelining” below the Preference Name and double click it to alter its value from false to true.
  2. Type “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” on the filter bar. Search for the same line below the Preference Name and double click it to alter its value that was 4 and change the number for a higher value. You can choose any number from 10 to 30.
  3. Type “network.http.proxy.pipelining” on the filter bar. Search for the same line below the Preference Name and click it twice to make the value true.
  4. Type “network.dns.disableIPv6” on the filter bar. Look for the same line below the preference name and click it twice to make the value true.
  5. Type “plugin.expose_full_path”. Look for the same line on the Preference Name and click it twice to make the value true.
  6. Type “network.protocol-handler.external.ms-help” on the filter bar. Look for the same line on the Preference name and right click on it, then mouse over New and then click Integer. Type “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” on the New Integer value box and click OK. Then type “0” (zero) on the Enter Integer Value Box and click Ok.
  7. Retype the line on the previous step. Right click on that line below the Preference name, mouse over to New and click Integer. Type “content.filter.backoffcount” on the New Integer Value Box and click OK. Type “5” on the Enter Integer Value Box and click OK.
  8. Retype the line mentioned on step 6. Then right click on the same line below Preference Name, mouse over New and click Integer. Type “ui.submenuDelay” on the New Integer Value Box and press OK. Type “0” (zero) on the Enter Integer Value Box and click Ok.
